Position Description

Oberweis Dairy is looking for a Web Developer. We are looking for a passionate web development leader who has experience architecting enterprise solutions and developing an overall Web development strategy. This individual will review and contribute to solution designs and also define technical requirements and processes. This individual must be self-driven and possess an unyielding commitment to excellence, while maintaining a high sense of urgency in the design and development process. Additionally, this individual must enjoy working in a high-energy collaborative environment and must be a highly effective communicator among both technical on non-technical staff.

Status: Fulltime hybrid- 3 days in office, 2 days virtual

Salary: $85k- $110k

General Responsibilities

• Design and develop web applications in .NET framework (2.0, 3.5, 4.0), specifically ASP.NET
• Design and develop MSSQL Server 2019/2022
• Troubleshoot, optimize and tune applications and their underlying data layers
• Identify issues and recommend and implement solutions
• Interact with business owners in requirements gathering Qualifications
• At least 3-5 years’ full life cycle software development experience
• At least 3-5 years of experience in MSSQL Server database development (stored procedures, functions and query optimization
• Excellent verbal and written communication and organizational skills, attention to details and multi-tasking abilities
• Strong analytical skills and problem-solving skills with the ability to formulate and communicate recommendations for improvement
• Have the ability to work effectively with others and good interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently with minimal direction from superiors
• Excellent problem-solving skills
• Ability to communicate effectively across all levels of our organization and translate work process improvement and customer-driven needs into high-level designs
• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field of study

Additional " Nice to Haves "

• HTML5 experience is a plus
• MS Power BI integration
• AS/400 experience or related iSeries functionality, DB2
• Experience programming in PHP
• E-Commerce experience
• WordPress
• Apache/Glassfish
