Job Title: Hydraulic Mechanic ($14-$18 per hour based on experience) - Paid weekly!
Location: Montgomery, AL
Job Type: Full-time
Shift: Day shift 
Pay Range: $14-$18 per hour

We are looking for a skilled Hydraulic Mechanic to join our team specializing in the repair, service, and maintenance of hydraulic systems and components. This position is ideal for someone with hands-on experience in hydraulic troubleshooting, rebuilding, and installation, with a focus on quality workmanship and timely service.

Position Overview:
As a Hydraulic Mechanic, you will work on a variety of hydraulic equipment, including pumps, motors, cylinders, valves, and hose assemblies used in industrial, agricultural, and heavy equipment applications. You will perform both shop-based and field repairs, ensuring equipment is restored to optimal performance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Diagnose, repair, and rebuild hydraulic pumps, motors, cylinders, valves, and other components
• Disassemble, inspect, and replace seals, bearings, and worn parts
• Fabricate and replace hydraulic hoses, fittings, and tubing as needed
• Conduct preventive maintenance on hydraulic systems to avoid future breakdowns
• Perform pressure and flow tests to ensure proper system operation
• Read and interpret hydraulic schematics, service manuals, and technical diagrams
• Maintain detailed repair and service records for all work performed
• Operate lathes, presses, and other shop equipment to assist with repairs
• Ensure all safety protocols and procedures are followed at all times
• Assist with field service calls when on-site repairs are required

Requirements:

• 2+ years of hydraulic repair experience in an industrial, heavy equipment, or agricultural setting
• Strong understanding of hydraulic systems, components, and repair techniques
• Ability to operate precision measuring tools and hydraulic testing equipment
• Basic welding and fabrication skills preferred
• Proficient in reading hydraulic schematics and diagrams
• Physically capable of lifting 50+ lbs and working in shop and field environments
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Reliable, safety-conscious, and able to work independently or as part of a team

Preferred Qualifications:

• Vocational training or certification in hydraulic systems repair
• Experience with both mobile and industrial hydraulic systems
• Knowledge of CNC machining or advanced fabrication a plus
