Position Details:

As the Director, Operations and Project Management, you will lead the Science & Engineering (S&E) Teams administration and operations team, supporting projects that promote children's mental healthcare while developing robust operational processes and administrative workflows. You will collaborate with administrative teams for contracting, accounting, and compliance while standardizing project management methodologies across CMI wide operational teams and the S&E portfolio. Furthermore, you will implement systems for efficient resource allocation, budget monitoring, and cross-departmental communication to ensure operational excellence.

Reporting to the Director, Office of the Chief Scientist, this is a full-time, exempt and hybrid (in office 4 days per week, 1 day remote) in our Midtown, NY office.

You Will:

• Manage cross-functional projects from launch to completion, creating comprehensive project plans and stakeholder engagement and alignment.
• Drive collaboration, development and maintenance of processes, manage resources, and maximize impact to support team operations and projects forward.
• Develop and maintain operational processes while optimizing resource allocations within the S&E and across cross-functional teams to advance team objectives and program outcomes.
• Build team processes for scale performance by collaborating with subject matter experts to identify solutions and appropriately deploy resources at a program and project level.
• Partner with stakeholders to create implementation strategies and communication plans that ensure successful daily operations of the S&E team.
• Lead data-driven insights across the research portfolio to support strategy, measure impact, and drive continuous improvement.

You Have:

• Bachelor's degree in Project Management, Business Management, Engineering, Science, or a related field.
• 7+ years of experience in formal project management and strategic operations at a matrixed organization.
• 3+ years in a leadership role managing and mentoring a team of individual contributors.
• Experience with project management methodologies, tools, techniques and technologies.

Pay Range

The salary range for the position is posted. Factors such as candidate's work experience, education/training, job-related skills, internal peer equity, as well as market and business considerations affect the salary offered within this range. In addition, this salary may be subject to a geographic adjustment (according to a specific city and state and depending on the role), if an authorization is granted to work outside of the location listed in this posting.
